Parking

We do not have our own parking at Arundel House Restaurant & Rooms, and we suggest that you make use of Mill Road Car Park, opposite the main Castle entrance, and just 200 metres from our doorstep.

The car park operates a Pay & Display system and we encourage all guests to purchase and display a valid ticket for the duration of their stay. Neither Arundel House Restaurant & Rooms, or the owners of the car park can accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your vehicle, but we can say that we have had no such incidents in the seven years that we have been open.

Parking is charged from 8.00am until 6.00pm every day including weekends and bank holidays.

The current charges are as follows:

Up to 3 hours : £1.50
3 to 4 hours : £2.50
Over 4 hours : £5.00

Guests wishing to enjoy a later start to the day are advised to make use of the Arun District Council car park along River Road, at the rear of The Swan Hotel, as the machines in this car park will allow you to purchase a ticket after 6.00pm, which will become valid at 8:00am the following day for the length of time purchased. It should be noted that the charges at this car park are higher than at Mill Road.

Free on-road parking can be enjoyed along Mill Road beyond the exit to the main car park. This road extends over a long distance away from the town centre, though demand for spaces is quite high. Around the town there are numerous areas where cars can be left for up to one hour.
